A classical dress watch where craftsmanship speaks before complications.
The Quai des Bergues Emerald Green L embodies the values on which Czapek was originally founded in 1845: proportion, refinement and uncompromising craftsmanship. Since the Maison's revival in 2015, those principles have been reinterpreted through independent watchmaking that values substance over spectacle.
Its flinqué enamel dial, created with Czapek's signature Ricochet® pattern, requires multiple stages of stamping, enamelling and kiln firing to achieve its remarkable depth and luminosity. Behind it, the hand-wound SXH1 calibre offers seven days of power reserve within a beautifully symmetrical movement inspired by 19th-century horology.
We carry it for collectors who appreciate traditional watchmaking at its highest level—but want it from an independent maison with a distinctive point of view rather than a familiar name.
A hand-wound calibre built on classical horological principles and modern execution.
The SXH1 is Czapek’s proprietary manually wound movement, developed in collaboration with Chronode in Le Locle and created specifically for the Quai des Bergues collection. It features a twin-barrel architecture delivering approximately 7 days of power reserve, operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), and follows a strictly symmetrical layout inspired by traditional Swiss watchmaking codes.
An annular balance wheel with variable inertia weights and a Breguet overcoil ensures stability and precision, while the skeletonised balance cock enhances visual openness across the movement. Finishing is executed with sandblasted surfaces inspired by 19th-century “satiné frost” decoration, reinterpreted with a contemporary technical clarity.
Servicing is handled directly through our relationship with Czapek in Geneva, where each movement is fully inspected and returned. Turnaround is typically six to eight weeks, and we can provide a loan watch during the service period if required.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through Czapek and handle the shipping both ways.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
