A dress watch that treats texture as its main complication.
The Promenade Plissé Rose is Czapek’s most expressive interpretation of modern elegance, where dial, movement and case are designed as a single aesthetic gesture. Since its revival in 2015, the Maison has built its identity on independent watchmaking that prioritises design clarity and mechanical integrity over convention.
The Plissé dial, inspired by haute couture fabric, is created through a complex stamping process that captures the softness of pleated silk in metal, shifting with every change of light. Beneath it, the in-house SXH5 micro-rotor calibre delivers refined finishing, a 60-hour power reserve, and a layout subtly adjusted to support the dial’s asymmetrical rhythm.
We carry it for collectors who already understand traditional dress watches—and are now looking for something more contemporary, more textural, and more deliberately designed.
A micro-rotor calibre refined to serve the dial as much as the movement.
The SXH5 is Czapek’s in-house automatic movement, developed with a clear focus on architectural balance and visual clarity. For the Promenade Plissé, the calibre’s layout is subtly reworked so the small seconds sits directly beneath the dial axis, reinforcing the collection’s sense of symmetry and design-led expression. It runs on a single barrel delivering approximately 60 hours of power reserve, with a micro-rotor in recycled platinum enabling efficient, unobtrusive winding.
Seven skeletonised bridges structure the gear train, a nod to 19th-century pocket watch construction reinterpreted through modern engineering. Finishing includes hand-bevelled angles, straight-grained surfaces and traditional haute horlogerie detailing throughout, ensuring the movement remains as considered as the dial it supports.
Servicing is handled directly through our relationship with Czapek in Geneva, where each movement is inspected, regulated and returned. Turnaround is typically six to eight weeks, and we can provide a loan watch while yours is away if required.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through Czapek and handle the shipping both ways.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
