Why we carry it

A choice we can defend in person.

Moritz Grossmann has a place with us for the depth of its hand-work and its independence. Re-established at Glashütte in 2008, it revives old German techniques rather than chasing the new.

The Hamatic Vintage is its cleverest gesture, calibre 106.0 winding through a reimagined oscillating hammer, in white gold. The dial is silver-plated by friction, beneath hands annealed to brown-violet.

The movement

Hand-finished, made to be serviced.

This movement carries 38, of which 3 in screwed gold chatons jewels.

Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

For the life of the watch

A relationship, not a transaction.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.

i.
Service, organised through us

When the time comes, we arrange the full service through Moritz Grossmann, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.

ii.
Straps & bracelets, for life

Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.

iii.
One person, not a call centre

You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.

iv.
A loaner while yours is away

When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.

Hold it once. Turn it over.

A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
