Why we carry it

A choice we can defend in person.

We carry Moritz Grossmann because the case-back is the argument: a young Glashütte house, revived in 2008 by Christine Hutter, finishing by hand with no campaign behind it.

This Tefnut is the most restrained, the slim calibre 102.1 laid out across its uniquely cut 3/5 plate, the silver dial plated by friction. Hours and minutes, nothing more.

The movement

Hand-finished, made to be serviced.

This movement carries 22, of which 3 in screwed gold chatons jewels, 48 hours when fully wound of power reserve, beating at 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour.

Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

For the life of the watch

A relationship, not a transaction.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.

i.
Service, organised through us

When the time comes, we arrange the full service through Moritz Grossmann, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.

ii.
Straps & bracelets, for life

Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.

iii.
One person, not a call centre

You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.

iv.
A loaner while yours is away

When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.

Hold it once. Turn it over.

A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
