A watch that changes with the light.
The Darkmoon Kama takes U-BOAT’s experimental spirit in an unexpected direction. Its photochromic dial responds to sunlight, gradually shifting from light to deep grey and near-black.
The grey PVD case keeps the design restrained while the dial does the work. It is a technical idea made visible — without relying on conventional decoration.
We carry it for clients who want something genuinely different: a watch that does not simply reflect the light, but reacts to it.
Swiss quartz precision, immersed in oil.
The Ronda 762 quartz movement brings dependable Swiss precision to the Darkmoon Kama, housed within U-BOAT’s distinctive oil-filled construction. Lubricated by an oil bath, the movement complements the watch’s technical character while maintaining accurate, reliable timekeeping.
Quartz keeps ownership straightforward: precise, dependable and low-maintenance. When service is required, we coordinate it through U-BOAT’s authorised service network.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat and handle the shipping both ways.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
