The Capsule is U-BOAT at its most imaginative, drawing on 1930s bathyspheres and the fantastical underwater worlds of Jules Verne. Its 50mm Grade 5 titanium case gives the concept an imposing yet surprisingly wearable foundation.
The steampunk-inspired architecture is deliberately unconventional, turning the watch into something closer to an instrument from an alternate age than a conventional timepiece.
We carry it for clients who want rarity and character in equal measure — only 90 pieces exist, and none of them are easy to mistake for anything else.
A Swiss automatic calibre, customised for U-BOAT.
The Sellita SW 200 is a proven Swiss automatic mechanical movement, personalised to U-BOAT’s specifications and visible through the Capsule’s distinctive construction. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, runs on 26 jewels and provides approximately 41 hours of power reserve. A skeletonized rotor adds a mechanical element to the movement’s visual character.
It is a straightforward, serviceable Swiss calibre with a strong track record for reliability. When maintenance is required, we coordinate servicing through U-BOAT’s authorised service network.
