An instrument from an imagined underwater world.
The Capsule draws from the undersea exploration modules of the 1930s, translating their mechanical character into a watch with serious presence. Its 50mm steel case and vintage-inspired architecture make the design feel more like an instrument than a conventional timepiece.
The steampunk influence is deliberate, giving the watch a tactile, almost cinematic quality that is unmistakably U-BOAT.
We carry it for clients who want something rare, unconventional and rich with character — limited to 200 pieces and designed to stand apart.
A Swiss automatic calibre, customised for U-BOAT.
The Sellita SW 200 is a proven Swiss automatic mechanical movement, personalised to U-BOAT’s specifications. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, uses 26 jewels and provides approximately 41 hours of power reserve, while its skeletonized rotor adds a distinctly mechanical touch.
Reliable, robust and straightforward to service, the calibre is well suited to the Capsule’s instrument-inspired character. When maintenance is required, we coordinate servicing through U-BOAT’s authorised service network.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat and handle the shipping both ways.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
