The PF053 is Parmigiani Fleurier’s in-house automatic chronograph movement, developed specifically around the TONDA PF Chronographe Mysterieux’s principle of appearance and disappearance. Beating at 4 Hz with a 60-hour power reserve, it combines 362 components and 41 jewels within an ultra-slim 6.9 mm profile.
Its unique triple-clutch architecture — combining vertical and horizontal clutches — enables the seamless transformation of the chronograph indications as they emerge and return to the dial. The open-worked movement is finished with satin-brushed and bevelled bridges, paired with a skeletonized 22-carat rose gold oscillating weight that balances technical performance with visual refinement.
