Tangente 2Date

Ref. 135 · In the case
The NOMOS Glashütte Tangente 2Date brings a distinctive perspective to the iconic Tangente design with its 37.5 mm case and dual date display. The patented NOMOS ring date presents the full month, while a generously proportioned date window at 6 o’clock highlights the current day in vivid red. Powered by an in-house hand-wound manufacture calibre, it combines Bauhaus clarity with an inventive approach to one of watchmaking’s most practical complications.

Why we carry it

A different way to read the date.

The NOMOS Glashütte Tangente 2Date Ref. 135 reinterprets the manufacture’s iconic Bauhaus design through two complementary date displays. The patented NOMOS ring date reveals the month at a glance, while the large date window at 6 o’clock brings the current day into focus—an inventive complication executed with remarkable clarity.

We carry it for collectors who appreciate purposeful innovation — where iconic design, mechanical ingenuity and the traditions of Glashütte watchmaking come together.

Tangente 2Date — movement
The movement · DUW 4601

A date calibre where innovation meets Glashütte tradition.

The hand-wound manufacture calibre combines NOMOS’ patented date mechanism with its proprietary Swing System and traditional Glashütte architecture. A skeletonized balance cock, blued balance spring and three-quarter plate with fine sunbeam ribbing showcase its technical sophistication, while the 52-hour power reserve and quick-set date bring everyday practicality. NOMOS perlage, tempered blue screws and gold-plated engravings complete a movement finished with characteristic Saxon refinement.

For the life of the watch

A relationship, not a transaction.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.

i.
Service, organised through us

When the time comes, we arrange the full service through NOMOS Glashütte and handle the shipping both ways.

ii.
Straps & bracelets, for life

Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.

iii.
One person, not a call centre

You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
