Moritz Grossmann DATE Turquoise — Limited Edition
Beyond telling time, the date is one of the most valued functions on a watch. While comparatively new in the history of horology—the first analogue wristwatch with a date display appeared in the early 20th century—Moritz Grossmann has reimagined this classic complication with a contemporary twist. Their innovative jumping date mechanism makes setting and reading the display remarkably intuitive.
At the heart of the DATE Turquoise is the calibre 100.3, derived from the proven calibre 100.1. To accommodate the unique jumping date complication on the dial side, several key components were carefully re-engineered. A secondary crown at 10 o’clock highlights the watch’s technical ingenuity at first glance.
This striking edition is distinguished by its turquoise guilloché dial, crafted in collaboration with the esteemed Comblémine atelier of Kari Voutilainen in Switzerland’s Val-de-Travers. The iridescent guilloché pattern on both the main dial and subsidiary seconds creates a captivating interplay of light, balancing artistry with precision.
Produced in a strictly limited series of just 18 pieces worldwide, the DATE Turquoise embodies rarity, refinement, and undeniable modern elegance. Bold yet sophisticated, it’s a timepiece designed to leave a lasting impression.
