The Parmigiani Fleurier Chronographe Mystérieux is an expression of invisible complication, where the chronograph exists only when required and recedes into purity when not in use.
At rest, the watch presents a clean TONDA PF three-hand dial with no visible indication of the chronograph function. The complication is fully integrated, preserving absolute visual harmony.
A monopusher positioned at 7:30 activates the chronograph. One press starts timing, a second stops it, and a third resets the mechanism, returning the watch seamlessly to its minimal three-hand display.
When engaged, the chronograph reading unfolds across the main dial rather than separate sub-dials, ensuring a unified and immediate interpretation of elapsed time.
The system is built around five coaxial hands driven by a triple-clutch mechanism, enabling precise activation, synchronised measurement, and complete visual reintegration at reset.
At its core, the in-house PF053 calibre powers this mechanism. Comprising 362 components, it operates at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) with a 60-hour power reserve and integrates mechanical memory, energy management, and coordinated clutch systems within a refined 6.9 mm profile.
