The Bremont Altitude Chronograph Pulsograph Valjoux 23 is a refined expression of heritage watchmaking, built around one of horology’s most celebrated movements. At its heart lies a meticulously restored "new old stock" Valjoux 23 column-wheel chronograph calibre, originally produced in 1916 and revered for its precision and architecture. Each movement has been carefully refurbished and hand-finished in collaboration with Chronode, offering a contemporary interpretation of classic haute horlogerie.
The 42mm Trip-Tick case is crafted from lightweight, high-strength titanium, combining durability with a slim 12.52mm profile for everyday comfort. A sapphire exhibition case back reveals the movement’s distinctive Y-shaped bridge and intricate finishing.
The dial is inspired by vintage chronographs, featuring a warm salmon-pink galvanic finish with brushed and grained textures. Applied black gold numerals and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova® ensure clarity, while silver sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock create a balanced two-tone aesthetic. A pulsometer scale around the dial pays tribute to traditional medical chronographs.
Finished with a quick-release brown nubuck leather strap with ecru stitching, the Altitude Chronograph Pulsograph seamlessly blends vintage inspiration with modern craftsmanship, soon available at Palladio Jewellers.
