Italo Fontana has run U-Boat from Lucca since 2000, drawing on a 1940s family heritage to make Italian watches that are oversized and unapologetic. A small share of our clients want a wrist that announces itself, and we hold a few U-Boat pieces so we can answer that with conviction rather than redirect it to something more restrained.
The Sommerso Bracelet is a 46mm stainless-steel pro-dive watch, water resistant to 300 metres, with a rotating bezel and an additional 24-hour counter, finished on a steel bracelet. Built for the depths and dressed for the surface. Diving capability carried at full U-Boat scale.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat and handle the shipping both ways.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
