U-Boat makes watches to be seen and is candid about it. From Lucca, since 2000, Italo Fontana has carried his family's 1940s designs into oversized, Italian pieces of real conviction. A portion of our clients want exactly that presence, and we carry the house so we can meet the wish honestly rather than offer a quieter alternative.
The Doppiotempo Chrono SS pairs a chronograph with the line's dual-time idea, a special bezel and an additional hand marking two times at once in a steel case. It is built around the thought that each place you track is a moment worth keeping. Function and presence, measured on one wrist.

Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
