Italo Fontana founded U-Boat in Lucca in 2000 and kept it large, Italian and frank about wanting to be noticed, drawing on a family heritage of 1940s design. We hold a few because a small portion of our clients want a watch that announces itself, and we would rather answer that directly than talk them into restraint.
The Doppiotempo 46 Bronzo GR sets a naturally aged bronze case around a bi-directional rotating bezel and a dual-time system that shows two zones at once. The bronze weathers individually with wear. A travelling watch built to read both times at a glance, at U-Boat's full 46mm presence.

Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat and handle the shipping both ways.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
