A choice we can defend in person.
U-Boat, made in Lucca since 2000 from Italo Fontana's family design lineage of the 1940s, builds Italian watches that are oversized and frankly so. They are their own announcement, and they admit it. A small portion of our clients want that conviction on the wrist, and we carry the house so we can answer them honestly rather than redirect them.
The Darkmoon Unico is a numbered edition of 300, each treated with selected oxidising acids so no two cases age alike. It blends modern build with older styling, the dial reading as though drawn from some forgotten depth. Individual by construction, not just by name, and unmistakably a Darkmoon.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
