A choice we can defend in person.
Few houses are as honest about their intent as U-Boat. From Lucca, since 2000, Italo Fontana has built on his family's 1940s design heritage to make watches that are oversized, Italian and frankly theatrical. A small share of our clients want precisely that theatre, and we keep U-Boat so we can answer them directly rather than offer a quieter substitute.
The Darkmoon 44mm Red IPB Soleil sets a red metal dial with a soleil finish beneath the house oil, the brushed rays catching light while the liquid lifts the colour to a deeper, more saturated red. The locking-ring construction simplifies battery changes. Vivid and legible, with U-Boat's full presence intact.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
