A choice we can defend in person.
U-Boat's whole proposition is presence, declared openly. Out of Lucca since 2000, with Italo Fontana carrying a 1940s family design lineage forward, the house builds Italian watches that are large and unashamed of it. A small portion of our clients want a wrist that speaks first, and we would rather answer that plainly than talk them out of it.
The Darkmoon 44mm Coral Red SS Soleil sets a soleil-finished coral red dial under the house oil within a steel case, the brushed rays and liquid together lifting the colour to a warmer, fuller red. The locking-ring system makes servicing simple. Steel keeps it bright where the colour does the talking.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
