A choice we can defend in person.
U-Boat makes no concession to restraint, and we respect the clarity of that. Founded in Lucca in 2000 by Italo Fontana on his family's 1940s design heritage, the watches are oversized, Italian and openly built to announce the wearer. Some of our clients want that, specifically, and we carry U-Boat to meet them where they are.
The Darkmoon 44mm Blue IPB Soleil places a soleil-finished blue metal dial beneath the oil-filled case, the liquid intensifying the blue and the brushed rays giving it motion in the light. The black IP body sharpens the contrast, and the locking-ring system keeps battery replacement quick. A cool dial in a watch that runs warm with presence.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
