Italo Fontana founded U-Boat in Lucca in 2000 and kept it oversized, Italian and unapologetic, working from a 1940s family design heritage. A small share of our clients want a wrist that speaks first, and we hold a few U-Boat pieces so we can answer that with conviction rather than redirect it to something quieter.
The Classico U-47 47mm AS1 brings the line's iconic form to a 47mm steel case, made for men and women with strong personalities. The scale is the statement. A pure, recognisable Classico, sized to be seen.

Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
