Italo Fontana founded U-Boat in Lucca in 2000 and kept it oversized, Italian and unapologetic, working from a 1940s family design heritage. A small share of our clients want a wrist that announces itself, and we hold a few U-Boat pieces so we can answer that with conviction rather than redirect it to something quieter.
The Classico 45 Titanium Tungsten Gray is a numbered edition of 299, its grey 'carrés' dial holding an understated sophistication that balances innovation against tradition. Lightweight titanium meets a robust tungsten bezel. Restraint and resilience, in U-Boat's idiom.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
