There are watches that are their own announcement, and U-Boat builds them on purpose. Made in Lucca since 2000 on Italo Fontana's family lineage from the 1940s, the line is oversized, Italian and frank about it. We keep a few because a portion of our clients want that presence, and we would rather answer plainly than offer a compromise.
The Chimera Sapphire Green Chrono SS, in a 500-piece limited edition, sets a laser-cut four-counter dial in steel with its lower part cut from sapphire crystal, giving a glimpse of the mechanism beneath. The cut counters catch light from every angle. A chronograph that wears its construction openly.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
