A choice we can defend in person.
Italo Fontana founded U-Boat in Lucca in 2000, carrying forward a family design lineage from the 1940s, and he has kept the line large, Italian and unapologetically loud. We hold a few because some of our clients want a watch that speaks first, and we would rather answer that wish directly than talk them into something quieter.
The Chimera Sapphire Green Chrono Bronze, limited to 500 pieces, carries a laser-cut four-counter dial with its lower section cut from sapphire crystal, opening a view into the watch. The bronze case patinates with wear. Architecture and movement on show, framed in U-Boat's full scale.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat and handle the shipping both ways.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
