U-Boat, founded in Lucca in 2000 by Italo Fontana on a 1940s family design lineage, has always built large, Italian, declarative watches and never apologised for them. A small portion of our clients want presence above all, and we carry the house so we have an honest answer rather than a polite redirect to something quieter.
The Chimera Green SS is a 500-piece limited edition with a laser-cut dial in steel, the seconds and 24-hour hands struck in green. The cut face reads as worked metal rather than print, and the steel keeps the green bright. Distinctly U-Boat in scale, distinctly hand-made in feel.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
