A choice we can defend in person.
U-Boat has been working in Lucca since the year 2000, where Italo Fontana built the house on a design instinct inherited from his family's 1940s drawings. The watches are large, Italian and unapologetic, made to announce the wearer and honest about it. A portion of our clients want that presence, and we carry U-Boat to meet them with conviction.
The Chimera Chrono 43 Bronze is a 300-piece limited edition with a laser-cut dial, the seconds and 24-hour hands picked out in brown. The bronze case will age to its own patina over time, so each example diverges from the next. A chronograph built to look made by hand, not stamped.
Hand-finished, made to be serviced.
Hand-assembled, regulated, and finished to the manufacture’s own standard.
Servicing is organised through us and the manufacture, and the watch comes back to your wrist — with a loaner in the meantime.

A relationship, not a transaction.
Every watch we sell stays close to us. We organise servicing, source straps, and answer the telephone ourselves — for as long as the watch is yours, and the wrist after that.
When the time comes, we arrange the full service through U-Boat, handle the shipping both ways, and put a loaner on your wrist while you wait.
Replacement straps and bracelets at cost, in any material the manufacture offers, fitted in person at the bench.
You speak to Jason — for a warranty question, a service interval, or simply a second opinion — for as long as you own the watch.
When your watch is at service we will put another independent on your wrist, so the wrist is never empty.
Hold it once. Turn it over.
A watch makes more sense in the hand than on a screen — particularly through the sapphire back. Book a viewing at 900 West Hastings St., Vancouver and we will put a loupe in your hand.
