Snowmobile breakdown makes it even more memorable.
It was a beautiful December day. Brittany’s father and some neighbours had secreted up the mountain in advance to ensure the perfect set-up was waiting for us when we got to the top. After I proposed – and she said yes! – we celebrated the moment with some champagne. It was perfect.
Unfortunately, when it came time to head back the snowmobile broke down, and with the sun quickly disappearing behind the mountains, we were forced to walk 1.5 hours through the snow and trees to get back to the cabin. Despite the cold and sore feet, we enjoyed the trek and laughed at our bad luck. The “mis-adventure” remains a positive addition to our memory.
Engagement ring passes the ultimate test.
I was a bit overwhelmed about finding the perfect ring. A co-worker recommended Palladio Jewellers and introduced me to Jason, who took the time to go over all the details of creating an engagement ring, from stone selection to design and manufacturing. Thankfully he kept in touch with me throughout the process, providing suggestions and insight whenever I was struggling over the details.
The result was a ring as breathtaking as the view from the top of the mountain where I proposed. It also passed the final test when Brittany, who is very particular about her jewellery, became my fiancée. The ring continues to garner compliments wherever we go. I look forward to meeting with Jason at Palladio again when the time comes to have our wedding bands made.
