“PALLADIO EDITION” HERITAGE BICOMPAX ANNUAL – INSPIRED BY VANCOUVER
To commemorate our history and acknowledge the dedication to quality and tradition, we have been working with two accomplished and well respected Independent Swiss watch manufacturers to co-create exclusive limited-edition timepieces for our collectors. The first novelty is the Heritage BiCompax Annual which we unveiled on 25th of February.
The Heritage BiCompax Annual combines timeless design with contemporary sophistication – a watch born of more than 130 years of style and savoir faire. The Frosted Silver dial with Lions Gate Green details take inspiration from the beautiful city we call home … Vancouver.
IN THE YEAR 33 BP (Before Palladio), also known as 1965 AD on the Gregorian calendar, a Swedish gentleman by the name of Johan Nordwall started a small jewellery business in
Vancouver called Swedish Jeweller. Fast forward to 2 BP (or 1996 AD), Swedish Jeweller changed hands and was acquired by Flora Bosa. Together with her son, Jason Bosa, they
began the process of rebuilding the business and its image with the goal of providing uncompromised quality in traditional jewellery design and hand crafted, artisan goldsmithing. Complimenting the new vision of elevated craftsmanship, they also began to source and introduce the Vancouver market to independent watchmaking which met the same criteria in
quality, craftsmanship, exclusivity and collectability.
“It was only natural that these changes would spawn a new focus for the business and, in the year 0 AP (After Palladio, or 1998 AD), the business underwent its biggest transformation when we opened our first street level boutique at the corner of Hastings and Hornby under our new branding as Palladio Jewellers.
THIS YEAR OF 25 AP, also known as 2023 AD, marks our 25th Anniversary operating as Palladio Jewellers and we are excited to celebrate this milestone with everyone who has
supported us and our vision”, recalls owner Jason Bosa.
