The Czapek Promenade collection represents a fresh expression of modern watchmaking—an artful fusion of elegance, creativity, and mechanical excellence. Launched at Watches and Wonders 2024, this collection was born from the vision to craft a timepiece that transcends functionality, becoming a wearable canvas for artistic and fashionable expression.
Originally conceived as a collector-worthy women’s watch, Promenade evolved into a refined 38mm timepiece that speaks to all who appreciate sophistication with a touch of playfulness. Its quiet confidence and fashion-forward spirit are embodied in asymmetrical dials, where design radiates from the small seconds sub-dial at 4:30—creating a unique sense of dynamic energy.
For 2025, Czapek introduces the Plissé dial, inspired by haute couture textiles and the timeless allure of design icons. This intricate dial mimics the delicate folds of pleated fabric, crafted through a complex stamping process developed with Czapek’s longtime partner, Metalem. As light dances across the dial, it creates the illusion of movement—like silk in motion.
Plissé is available in three captivating colours—Ivory, Pearl White, and Rose—with the Rose version elegantly paired with a Milanese mesh steel bracelet. Each colour variant is strictly limited to 18 pieces, adding exclusivity to artistry.
Minimalist hands and applied indexes with diamond-cut angles ensure the intricate dial remains the centrepiece. With its nod to both heritage tailoring and avant-garde fashion, the Promenade is a bold yet graceful statement—effortlessly modern, undeniably Czapek.

Movement
Since its introduction in May 2020, the automatic Calibre SXH5 has continually evolved. For Promenade, Czapek and its engineers played with its architecture purely for the sake of the dial aesthetics – another example of the Maison’s “Beauty above all” approach, positioning the small seconds mechanism now directly beneath, and on the same axis as the dial display.
Immediately recognisable by the seven skeletonised bridges that hold the gear train in place – inspired by the 19th-century pocket watches of François Czapek – the movement plates and bridges feature fine haute horlogerie finishes, including bevelling, straight-grained sides and hand-chamfered inward angles. Beating at 4Hz (28,800 vph) and wound by a micro rotor with a mass of 100% recycled platinum, SXH5 offers 60 hours of power reserve.
