An engagement ring that has lived a life before this one.
The emerald in this ring is not new. It was sent to us by a client who inherited it from her grandmother’s brooch, kept in a velvet pouch for forty years, and asked us to make it into something that would last another forty.
We sent it to Jaipur for a careful recut from a 3.6 ct old oval to a 1.84 ct cushion, then built the platinum gallery around it here in Vancouver. The accent diamonds are old-mine European cuts from our own stock, set by hand. The band engraves to your specification at no extra charge.
If you would like this stone reset another way, or this setting around your own stone, we will quote that conversation in person. Either takes about eight weeks.

There is nothing on a piece this size that was not held, in our hand, by someone you can meet. The casting is done at our foundry in Burnaby and finished here. The setting and engraving are entirely in-house.

Every Palladio commission is on the bench for free, for life. We will check the setting, polish the band, retighten prongs, and restring pearls — for any piece we sold, regardless of the year, with no need to book ahead.
Stones checked, prongs retipped, band refinished — at no charge, every year, in person.
Within ±1 size, included with purchase. Larger adjustments quoted in person.
If the piece needs more than polish — a re-pavé, a new shank, a complete reset — we will quote it at cost.
